I actually digitally colored this amazing Sabra commission by Adriana Melo back in 2011 but for reasons I can't remember now I didn't think to post it at the time. So it's long over due to make it's debut on social media. Especially now with the recent news about Sabra's first ever live action appearance in Captain America New World Order and all the anti-semites that are getting all worked up over it on social media. Sabra's first official appearance was in Incredible Hulk 256 but she actually has a cameo in 250. Both issues were written by Bill Mantlo and penciled by Sal Buscema but the concept for the Sabra character comes from Belinda Glass. She was married to Mark Gruenwald but other then that virtually nothing else is known about her. Including if she was Jewish or not or otherwise had any connection to Israel.

Well, it sure didn't take too long for all the manufactured Sabra hysteria by leftist antisemites to make the jump from cyber space to the real world. Much like how a virus goes from one host to another. Antisemitism works much the same way and like a virus over time it also mutates. Anyways, a couple of these Sabra themed anti-Israel posters were discovered at bus stops in Oakland California this past weekend. So basically it only took about a month since Marvel announced Sabra's debut in the MCU for those asshole leftist antisemites to start vandalizing public property with their idiotic propaganda. Just utterly pathetic. 

It should come as no surprise that almost right next to that bus stop in early May there was a "anti-war" protest organized by code pink and the democratic socialists of America. I used the quote marks because these protestors were not protesting putin's invasion of Ukraine. They were protesting US military aid to Ukraine believing the military aid is what was prolonging the war. Last night The United Shades of America episode "Policing The Police" aired on CNN. The episode primarily focused on the issue of racsim and police brutality here in The San Francsico Bay Area and one of the people interviewed for the episode was this charming young lady seen here. She's been a fixture in the local anti-Israel movement for several years now and true to form she used this opportunity on The United Shades of America to promote an anti-Israel narrative that has no basis in fact. 

Why do I say that? Common sense aside, I'm married to a retired Bay Area police officer who actually still works in a sector of law enforcement and she has never even so much as even heard of American cops being trained by Israelis. In fact, I would challenge anyone reading this who personally knows any cops to ask them if they know anything about training in Israel. This is just another case of an anti-Israel agenda hijacking a legitimate domestic social issue as a means of self promotion an gaining a wider audience. To be clear, the issue of police brutality and racism in America has nothing to do with the Israel  palestinian conflict going on half way around the world. Don't be fooled by the BS of anti-semitic BDSholes. Take the time to earn the facts and the truth.

CA Congressman Eric Swalwell in Castro Valley for first night of Chanukah

December 2nd Update: Decided to attend the first Chanukah event in Castro Valley as listed on the flyer at the top of the posting and was quite surprised to see Eric Swalwell there. Although a democrat, Swalwell has been to Israel and thus far has been a strong advocate for Israel and in general seems to have more moderate (but still left of center) leanings on a number of social issues. I got to talk to him for a couple of minutes and expressed my concerns about left wing anti-Semitism and that I really hope he stays the course if he were to make a 2020 presidential run.

There is an unfortunate perception that for one to be a supporter of Israel one must be a conservative. That's just plain false. There's nothing inconsistent with being socially liberal while supporting the single democracy in the Middle East that has a free press, free elections, free speech and comparable standards to any western democracy when it comes to the freedoms and rights of women and members of the LGBT community. Not to mention Israel is a global leader in green tech. The radical left of today are not liberals in any true sense of the word, they are a hate group plain and simple. To say that the radical left of today are liberals is like saying that most of today's republicans belong to the party of Lincoln. Please don't let us down congressman Swalwell...

So a couple days ago the Oakland Bakery of Terror (with it's wall art of convicted palestinian terrorist ratmea odor who was recently deported out of the U.S. for lying on her entry visa) hosted a signing event for some kind of BDS book which drew anti-islamic terror protests. More then likely that book it's self will actually end up being yet another BDS fail story since most of it's sales will probably consist of the couple dozen or so radical leftist loser participants at the event. Speaking of which, get a load of these characters...

September 1st Update: Well well well look who's beautiful face has graced the cover of the September issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. As of the publication of this issue Wonder Woman has now brought in well over 800 million world wide (not counting merchandising), a sequel has already been announced and fans are super hyped for Gal's next debut as Wonder Woman when The Justice League hits theaters this November. My new Sodastream Fizzi from Cliffs Variety in SF

So today I finally bought a Sodastream machine. But instead of buying it from a nearby Bed Bath and Beyond in The East Bay I decided to go through the hassle of driving to San Francisco so I could buy it from Cliff's Variety. They've been harassed by the BDS movement for at least a few years now and I applaud them for standing up to those idiotic BDSholes because as you can see they're still selling Sodastream as of this posting today. And ofcourse I made sure to let the staff know exactly why I made a point of coming out to San Francisco to buy from Cliff's Variety.

The BDS movement has worked much better for the anti-Israel crowd as a propaganda tool then it has as an actual economic weapon. To say it's even made a dent in Israel's robust first world economy would be giving it too much credit. Although I was recently in Israel you don't have to go to Israel to see that, you can see it all around you right here in the San Francisco Bay Area as I have so diligently documented on this blog in recent months. But it's important to remember that at it's core the BDS movement is anti-Semitic with it's nazi style tactics coupled with it's human rights facade.
Despite it's lack of effectiveness when it comes to hard economic numbers, fight BDS where ever you find it. Today was a small thing in the grand scheme of things but a BDS fail is still a BDS fail which became Israel and Cliff Variety's gain and that really made my day. So the next time you run into some BDShole be sure to ask them . . how's that BDS workin out for ya today?

I took these pictures right off of highway 880 near the Port of Oakland a few days ago. Did you know that the Port of Oakland is the 5th busiest container port in the entire United States? Yeah, no kidding. This gift shop can be found just past the Jaffa Gate. I'm thinking this is probably more of a reference to Jerusalem The City of Gold more so then anything having to do with The Golden Gate Bridge but I still thought it was a pretty cool coincidence as someone from the San Francisco Bay Area.

I guess they must get some of their granite and marble for head stones and what not from Israel. So much for any BDS around there.
